HostedInvite is a done-for-you event hub — not just a pretty invite. Guests get a custom page with details, photos, map, and schedule. Glow and Spotlight add RSVP on the page; every package includes a host hub for QR codes, updates, and sharing (guest lists and CSV export on higher tiers). Pay once; we design it. Guests open one link—no app required.
No. The guest experience is a polished invite page, but HostedInvite is also your event hub: manage details and photos, download QR codes, track RSVPs, export data, control public vs invite-only access, and message the design team — all from one host dashboard.
Canva Pro is a design tool — perfect for flyers and social posts if you enjoy building every layout yourself. It does not give guests a live event page with map, schedule, host QR tools, or RSVP (on higher packages), and a pretty graphic still goes stale when plans change. Free DIY invite builders put the template fight on you. HostedInvite is done-for-you: we design a live event hub (guest page + host dashboard). Pay once — Spark, Glow, or Spotlight — edit rounds included. Glow+ adds RSVPs and CSV export. You share one link; we handle the craft.
Use Canva Pro if you want to design static graphics yourself. Choose HostedInvite if you want a polished guest experience that stays live (details, RSVP, updates) plus a host hub for QR codes, guest lists, and exports — without becoming the designer. Many hosts still use Canva for save-the-date stories; the event hub is what runs the day.
Yes. Sign in free (magic link) and open the Design Studio playground — templates, 2D/3D/4D entrances, and page FX on a private sandbox. When you want a polished live hub with QR (and RSVPs on Glow/Spotlight), book Spark, Glow, or Spotlight and we can finish it done-for-you. Playground designs are not a paid event page until you book.
Only if you opt in at sign-in. We always send account mail (magic links, receipts, important event notices). Product tips, promotions, and marketing messages go only to emails with marketing consent. You can leave the box unchecked.
Yes. Your event hub is a normal website — guests open it in Safari (or any browser) with no app install. It is built mobile-first for iPhone and Android. Guests can save the date from their phone; on Glow and Spotlight they can also RSVP on the page.
She doesn’t need email, Instagram, or Facebook. Anyone with a phone can open your link or scan a printed QR code. They see the details on the page (and RSVP when your package includes it). You can text the link, print the QR on a card, or show them the page in person.
Yes. After go-live you update details from your host hub (venue, schedule, FAQ, photos depending on package). Package edit rounds cover design polish after we send your first draft; small fact fixes after you’re live are normal—message us in the hub if you need a design pass.
Any gathering with a guest list: weddings, birthdays, quinceañeras, reunions, corporate parties, celebrations of life, city events, and more. We serve hosts nationwide online. Packages are defined by features, not event type.
Soft-launch pricing: Spark $99, Glow $279, and Spotlight $549 (USD, before tax). Glow is what most hosts choose (RSVPs, more photos, two venues). Edit rounds: Spark 5, Glow 10, Spotlight 20. Live windows: 3 / 6 / 9 months. Luxury layouts on every package. Optional add-ons include guest gallery, printed QR board, QR cards, tees, rush, and extra months. Tax may be calculated at checkout.
RSVP on the guest page is included with Glow and Spotlight. Guests open your hub link or scan the QR and fill in the form; you see responses in your host hub and can export CSV. Spark is a designed share page + QR without the RSVP form. Spotlight adds private per-guest links and open tracking.
A public hub uses one shareable URL for everyone. Private (Spotlight) gives each guest a personal /i/… link that greets them by name and ties RSVP to that invite. You can also list public live events on our Open invites directory.
Spark 3 months, Glow 6 months, Spotlight 9 months from go-live (extend with add-ons). After that you can archive or ask about extensions.
Yes. HostedInvite is fully online and serves hosts nationwide. You book and manage everything through the website and host hub — we design remotely, and guests open your link from anywhere.
You’ll get a receipt and a personal note with how to sign in to your host hub (magic link, no password). Upload details and photos, chat with us about the design, then we send a draft for review. Typical turnaround is about a week (faster with the rush add-on). When you approve, we go live and you share one link or QR. On Glow and Spotlight you also run RSVPs from the hub.
